Sandalford Estate Winery

 

The new Estate Room at Sandalford Winery was designed by Sibella Court from The Society Inc (the designer of "Mr Wong" in Sydney). 

 

The Estate Room is a large-scale event room with no internal pillars or columns, which makes it an extremely versatile space. The room can be sub-divided using a stunning wall of 3m high timber bifold doors that stretch more than 17 metres across the space. Cedar West supplied all of the timber doors for this project, including the custom-made Western Red Cedar bifolds, enormous timber barn door, and traditional tongue-and-groove Mighton doors.

 

Cedar West worked closely with the designer to create a bespoke finish that echoes the charm and character of a classic wine barrel. Many of the doors feature custom rough-sawn timber, which has been finished with a Sikkens Silvery Grey coating for a rustic, well-aged appearance.

 

The Estate Room was constructed by DMG Australia, with timber joinery by Cedar West.
