Tuscan Inspired Villa

This Tuscan-style villa brings Italian charm and character to the Australian countryside.

The villa is designed around a central courtyard, and features a bell tower, gatehouse, and generous outdoor living spaces and porticos. Constructed from stone and plastered brickwork, with Mediterranean-style curved roof tiles and traditional columns, the home is situated on a beautiful country estate in an area filled with vineyards and farmland. 

Cedar West supplied all of the Western Red Cedar doors and windows for this project, including the impressive Chatsworth entry doors with surrounding arched window. The owner selected matching wrought-iron doors with solid timber panels for use inside the home - the timber panels can be opened for airflow or closed for privacy. The home also features numerous Cambridge double-door sets, Empire doors, as well as timber casement, awning and fixed hilite windows. 

The joinery has a classic, traditional appearance, but enjoys the luxury of modern sophistications such as hidden retractable flyscreens for external doors, and cavity sliding systems for some internal doors.  

The villa was designed by Dominik & Karl Design Studio, and features solid timber doors and windows by Cedar West.
