Mosman Federation Home

This beautiful home in Mosman (c1910) is a stunning example of Arts & Crafts Federation architecture.

The owners wished to update and extend the footprint of the home while preserving the original character and heritage of the building. Classic Building & Renovations were appointed to help bring the home back to its former glory.

As part of the renovations, a new extension was built at the rear of the home to provide additional space for the family. The new elements of the building were required to be sympathetic with the character of the original home. 

Cedar West worked closely with the builder to provide bespoke timber joinery and mouldings to complement the original elements of the home. The mouldings, cornices, catches and glazing designs were custom machined to blend with the original features.
