Contemporary Coastal Home

This lovely modern home has been designed to make the most of the beautiful coastal location in Trigg.

Large stacking timber doors have been used to frame the ocean views, as well as to provide easy access to the stunning, resort-style garden and pool area. The multi-stacking timber doors have been double-glazed, to help insulate the home against the hot afternoon sun.

Another striking feature of this home is the extensive use of Flutestyle timber lining as a design element. Flutestyle has been used on the walls as well as the ceiling to add interest, warmth and texture to the building.  

The home also incorporates internal cavity sliding doors in the main bedroom which retract completely inside the wall to allow access the large walk-in-robe. Other timber elements include the generous Mosman pivot entrance door and the double-glazed timber windows used in the family room.

Cedar West supplied all of the timber joinery and mouldings for the home, which was designed and constructed by the talented owner/builder.
