Unique Coastal Home

Located just a five-minute stroll from the Indian Ocean, the shape of the new rooftop of this renovated home echoes the curves of the nearby waves.

Cedar West supplied the custom-made timber doors and windows for this home extension, including a bespoke window that reflects the shape of the curved rooftop. The central part of this window is fitted with louvres to allow the sea breeze to enter the home. 

The joinery used for this project includes:

* Salisbury doors with timber glazing bars and toplite windows
* Custom windows, including a combination of louvres and fixed windows.
* Bay window with bespoke awning windows
* Casement windows 

The project was designed by Ecotecture and built by Wandoo Design & Construction. Oswald Homes, and features customised solid timber doors and windows by Cedar West.
